Two Methods for Creating Quizzes and Assessments

TalentCards provides two primary ways to develop assessments (I show you exactly how to do it in detail in the video above and linked here).

1. AI-Powered Quiz Generation

TalentCards includes AI capabilities that simplify quiz and exam creation. By using AI, you can generate questions based on the content of your course. The AI-driven approach significantly reduces the time and effort required to build quizzes, making it easier for educators and trainers to develop comprehensive assessments. However, AI-generated content may not cover all the necessary topics, so manual refinement is recommended.

2. Manual Quiz Creation

For users who prefer a hands-on approach, TalentCards also allows for manual quiz creation. This method gives complete control over the questions, ensuring they align precisely with the training objectives. The best strategy is to combine AI-generated questions with manually added ones to create a well-rounded assessment experience.

Navigating the TalentCards Dashboard

Once you log in to TalentCards, you’ll find yourself on the main dashboard. From here, follow these steps to create your quizzes and assessments  (I show you exactly how to do it in detail in the video above and linked here).

Step 1: Accessing the Card Sets

In TalentCards, courses are referred to as card sets. To create an assessment, navigate to the Card Sets section. This is where you can build structured learning materials, integrating quizzes and exams as needed.

Step 2: Structuring Learning Sequences

A key feature of TalentCards is the ability to organize sequences—a structured pathway where learners must complete one card set before unlocking the next. This ensures a logical flow of learning and assessment. To create a sequence, simply drag and drop card sets into the desired order.

Step 3: Using AI to Generate Quiz Questions

To leverage AI for quiz creation:

1. Select Create a New Card Set and choose Generate with AI.

2. Provide a detailed description of the course to help AI generate relevant content.

3. TalentCards AI will create multiple training cards, along with a basic quiz.

4. For free trial users, the AI generates one multiple-choice question per quiz, while premium users gain access to a broader set of AI-generated questions.

If the AI-generated questions are insufficient, users can manually refine or add additional questions for better assessment coverage.

Step 4: Manually Creating Quiz Questions

If you prefer not to use AI or want to add custom questions:

1. Open the card set where you want to insert a quiz.

2. Click Add Quiz and select from multiple formats such as multiple-choice, polls, or surveys.

3. Input the question and answer options, ensuring they align with your course content.

4. Save and integrate the quiz within the course sequence.
