[00:00:00] Learning Transformed is brought to you by E-Learning Partners, your guide to designing transformational learning experiences in the age of ai. For millennia human intelligence was the highest form of intelligence on earth. Until now. Hi, I'm ai. I can process more information in seconds than any human in a lifetime.
This shift raises not only practical questions about the future of learning, but existential ones about the meaning of human life, growth and evolution
on this podcast hosted by me. Johnny Ha. We navigate these questions with clarity, creativity, and confidence. As the most adaptable species on the planet, we cannot only survive the rise of [00:01:00] artificial intelligence, but create better human centered, AI powered learning experiences that elevate humanity to a new era of abundance, transformation and meaning
AI is rising. And so are we
Now, let's dive in.
Today on the show, I'm gonna share with you the seven types of businesses that get the highest return on investment from e-learning. This episode is for anyone who has ever wondered if you and your business should integrate an e-learning, learning experience, or online course program in your business.
The first. Type of business that really every business like this should have. An e-learning program is [00:02:00] a mission-driven business. Why should a mission-driven business have an e-learning program? Well, because e-learning programs exponentially increase. Your reach, which means that if you have a mission to create global impact with your business, you'll be able to reach more people if you integrate e-Learning.
My company, E-Learning Partners, our mission is to help mission-driven organizations use learning to change the world, whether that means saving lives, creating opportunities. We're spreading hope. We empower organizations to impact the world while saving six figures or more annually. Even after paying us, that is our mission and our vision is to serve a hundred million people worldwide by empowering mission-driven organizations to [00:03:00] achieve their goals.
There is no way that me and e-learning partners would be able to even come close to achieving our vision. Without e-learning, e-learning empowers us to empower others. Let me give you an example. One of my amazing VIP coaching clients, Mario in Australia, he has created a program called the SOS program or the Support over Suicide and his Impossible Goal, his big mission in life with this program.
Is to half the worldwide suicide rate in the next three years by 2028. That means leveraging his program support over suicide to empower millions of people worldwide to support other people through the hardest times in life. That is what he's doing. That is his mission. And without e-learning, he wouldn't be able to go beyond his [00:04:00] locale in.
Australia, but with e-learning, he's able to reach the world with his program. If you have a mission-driven business, I highly, highly recommend that you consider integrating an e-learning program in some capacity in what you do. The second type of business that gets the highest ROI from E-Learning is a software.
Company. Why is that? Because one of the biggest challenges that software companies have, if you run a software company, you know what it is? Adoption. People using your software. So if you create a e-learning program that you can enroll people into when they purchase your software, you're gonna have less friction.
You're gonna have more people want to use your software 'cause they're gonna be able to learn it. Very easily. What this really does, and really you should take this to the next level, like my client over at CoStar. CoStar [00:05:00] is a software and data analytics company in the commercial real estate space, the software that CoStar sells is this amazing suite of technology that.
Uh, delivers the best data about commercial real estate worldwide. Basically, all the information you want to learn about a commercial real estate property from a office building to a hotel is. Provided on their software, and CoStar Group is one of my enterprise learning accelerator partnership clients, which every year, me and my company, e-learning partners, partners with different organizations to actually become the e-learning team for that company.
While we've been partnered for about three years as of recording this video and what we've done. Along with supporting the build out of multiple certifications for specific parts of the commercial real estate data industry. We have also created e-learning to help students, professors, and industry [00:06:00] professionals use CoStar groups software so that when they get the software, they know what to do.
Cool thing. If you are a software company, you can not only use e-Learning to teach people how to use your software, what you can do. You can create the software certification revenue center. And what this is, you sell software, you sell certifications on how to use that software. And what happens is now people who purchase your software are gonna want to buy your certification.
Then their friends are gonna want to buy the certification. 'cause they're like, oh wow, you got certified in CoStar groups. Platform. This is amazing. I want to get certified in it. Employers love this. They love that people know how to use this, can apply this to anything. Salesforce, using Salesforce software.
You get certified in it. When you have a certification, more people purchase your software. This actually branches off in a bunch of other directions [00:07:00] too. Same on this side, but when you have a certification and a software, they feed. One another. The best way to deliver a certification is with e-Learning.
So you don't have to have a certification to get use out of e-Learning as a software company, you can just have e-learning integrated with the implementation of the software, and someone purchase the software, they get access to the course. That's what I do with the e-learning software platforms that I resell.
I resell four different platforms and I give people a free course when they try out the platform, and you can try out any of these platforms by checking out my e-learning platform finders so you can get matched with what the perfect. Platform is for you to save five to 200 x in your software investment for your organization, and I'm gonna set you up with a free trial, the best fit software for you and your company.
I'm gonna give you a free course, free e-learning to help you and your team get everything up and running from A to Z to actually start making [00:08:00] money. Or saving your company money by training your internal employees. 'cause maybe you're selling a program, maybe you're training your employees, maybe you're pairing a program with your software sales so that more people buy your software and more people keep your software longer.
Well, my free course is gonna help you do that. With the platform you get matched with and when you start paying for the software, I'm gonna sit down with you and your team in something I call my platform to profit strategy session where thousands of dollars, where we figure out how to use this platform to create the most ROI.
For your company, you can check out my e-learning platform finder in the description below if you're watching this on YouTube or in the show notes if you're listening to this as a podcast. Next, the third type of business against the highest ROI For E-learning medical organizations. I have partnered with two of the biggest [00:09:00] medical organizations in the world on multiple e-learning initiatives, the WHO.
Or the World Health Organization and the CDC or the Centers or Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The work we've done together is some of the most globally influential that I have done. In my entire life with the CDC partnered with multiple programs related to misinformation and the COVID-19 pandemic, and with the WHOI worked on a program called the GORN program, stands for the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network.
So. Why e-Learning? Well, if you want to create worldwide impact and you're a medical organization, the easiest way. [00:10:00] To do that is with e-learning and creating programs that can be translated in multiple languages, which is what we did in both of these instances, and this was pre ai. Now with ai, it's much easier.
To take a program, translate it to another language if you want to reach the masses globally. Partnering with e-Learning as a medical organization is an amazingly powerful pathway for you in order to get the information that we. Put into these micro-learning programs for both these organizations. We created these programs to live on the biggest LMS worldwide, which is YouTube.
You are on it right now. So if you're a medical organization, this is one of the reasons why you would want e-learning, is to get global healthcare information out there as quickly as possible and to the widest audience. Now, the ROI looked very different. For the WHO [00:11:00] and the CDC, when it came to implementing e-learning, there was no hard dollar revenue increase saving cost statistics that they were going after.
It was literally trying to save and impact as many lives as possible using the power of e-learning. So what if you're a medical organization that. Is looking to increase profits and decrease costs, and you're looking to implement e-Learning. That is exactly what my long-term client Kir is looking to do on the surface.
Kir looks like a CBD company. When you dig deeper, Kir is actually responsible for creating the highest quality. CBD in the world. And what they're doing now is creating pharmaceutical grade products for doctors and patients that are [00:12:00] safer. They're more effective and exponentially less expensive than treatments on the market today.
The challenges when it comes to the technology that they are implementing in the world, the highest grade CBD that exists, there is a knowledge gap. Between their products. And they're consumers, they're customers, and their consumers are both doctors and patients. Similar to what I talk to people about, there are organizations out there that are spending five to 200 times more than they should be on their e-learning software, and they're doing this to no fault of their own.
They're doing this because when e-Learning first came about, software used to be a lot more expensive. It was new technology. Things cost more and did less than what they do today. Similar to the first computer. The first computer that was commercially available for people to purchase came out in the [00:13:00] 1950s and it cost $1 million.
Now we have smartphones that cost a fraction of that. A thousand dollars or less, sometimes free, depending on what your plan is with your cell phone provider, exponentially less. Kir has a similar challenge because there are different products in the marketplace for different things that, for privacy reasons I'm not gonna share, that have been the solution to different medical ailments traditionally, that doctors have prescribed to patients.
That have done a very good job. The opportunity comes in where Kir has products, harnessing the power of CBD, that provide a as good if not better solution than what doctors and patients are used to, and a fraction of the price somewhere around even 10 times less for something that is even more valuable.[00:14:00]
This. Is where e-learning comes into play. E-Learning becomes the branch between these new products and our consumers. This is similar to the software company example where packaging e-learning with the product and e-learning in the most simple way to educate both doctors and patients of why the product.
Is exponentially less. What's in it for the doctors to provide a product that is exponentially cheaper to the patients? And what is the value to the patients to believe that a product that is 10 times or more or less expensive is gonna provide as much or more value than what they're already getting?
E-learning. Narrows that gap and yes, eventually you could integrate a certification of how to use these products in the best way, how to administer these products in the best way medically. But [00:15:00] e-learning may be the driving force to getting sales for the products in the first place. That is the power of e-learning for a medical organization.
The fourth type of business, like it's the highest ROI from integrating an e-learning program. Certification organizations, this is a no-brainer if you're a certification organization and most organizations, associations, companies that provide certifications already have e-learning. And if you don't, easy decision, just integrate it.
Now, the biggest challenge that I see with certification organizations is how much they're spending on. E-learning product. So if you have a certification, I invite you to really look at how much you're spending on your software, and if you're overspending on your software, then I invite you to check out my e-learning platform finder so that you can save [00:16:00] five.
It's a 200 x on the technology that empowers you to have your certifications delivered. Online to your learners. I serve a lot of organizations that fall into this category because of how valuable it is to take your certifications to a global audience. There are people all around the world that can benefit from what you.
Our teaching from your certifications and e learning empowers you to do that worldwide and you don't even have to spend that much for it. You can spend $5,000 or less to serve a hundred thousand people worldwide. That's a lot of people. That's not a lot of money. That's all you need to bring your certification business.
To the masses globally. My longest term client geo tool does this at the highest level in the geometrical tolerancing industry. The founders of Geo Oto not only co-author, the [00:17:00] standard practices in geometrical toing for manufacturing professionals, their certification program serving the top companies locally in the US and globally that you can think of.
Ranging from Facebook to Tesla and beyond, and they're able to have this global impact because of e-learning. And they do it in different ways, and you can do it in different ways if you're any of these businesses. But when we're talking about actually selling programs, selling a certification, you can go about it in the B2C camp where you are selling one to one.
So you have one certification, maybe let's call it $300, and you're selling that to one person, so you make $300. You could also do what Geo Tool does where they sell B2B. CoStar also does this with their certifications, where you're selling one to [00:18:00] hundreds or many. This could be thousands. Same thing selling about a $300 certification.
Maybe you discount it a little bit, maybe it's 2 75 and now you're selling it. It's a hundreds now, instead of making $300, you're making $30,000. That's if you're selling to a hundred, there are CoStar transactions that are a couple hundred where they're making $60,000 in one transaction instead of 300.
So you're not only making more money, you're serving more people. This is the most powerful way. To start a certification business, start a mission driven business, go B2B in a exponentially more impact. A hundred x impact. Selling one to a hundred. Versus selling one-to-one. Number five, the fifth type of business that enjoys the highest ROI from integrating an E-learning program into your company.
Maybe this is you, a coaching and or consulting [00:19:00] business. This is where my company comes into play e-learning partners. We are a coach. And a consulting business where we partner with organizations to save them six figures or more per year, even after paying us on your e-learning program. So you save millions of dollars over time, or you work with me as your coach, my VIP coaching experience where I empower you to save six figures annually on your e-learning compounding in millions of dollars over time.
And I pair. Both these programs with e-learning, I have my own on demand e-learning courses that I have my coaching clients and my Enterprise Learning Accelerator partnership clients go through to support. Each of these programs and you can too. One of my clients called Arc Quality Solutions. They are both a coaching and a consulting company that helps with [00:20:00] customer experience, partner with companies to improve their customer service programs to train their customer service staff well.
For the longest time, they were only doing this in a coaching and consulting perspective where have to work with a person. And in the past couple years, ARC has integrated. A e-learning program internally and externally. Internally, what they've done is create an e-learning program to train more coaches and consultants, so they've taken their best stuff, put it on a program so that they can scale up and provide even more organizations with the customer service training that they need, the customer experience consulting that they need because they have more people that can do it at a high level.
Same thing on the external side. They have on demand programs now. That people can go through to learn the best practices of customer service and customer experience, which allows ARC to serve even more [00:21:00] individuals and organizations worldwide. Same thing though. Is we have the B2C and the B2B model B2C being one-to-one B2B being one to many, hopefully hundreds.
What ARC has done is they've empowered themselves to serve the B2B model. And not just in a selling their courses perspective. By bringing on more coaches that are trained with their internal programs, they're able to have coaches serve more B2B organizations and serve more people at those organizations.
So this is a great example of internal equals employees. And external equals customers and serving both of these types of learners with e-learning in a coaching and consulting business. Next franchises or companies. Looking to franchise. Why is this? Well, let's ask my longtime client, CresCom [00:22:00] Worldwide training organization with franchises in 40 plus countries around the world.
What they've done, and this has been a core of their business for so long, is they have leveraged e-learning to serve not only their 40 franchises. 40 plus franchises by basically training them. 'cause that's really the first way to really leverage e-learning from a franchise perspective is you train the franchise.
Number two is. You can actually have your franchises sell your programs, so you're creating another product for your franchises to sell. And that's what Crestcom has done, is they not only leverage E-learning to train their franchises, to keep their franchises on the same page so that there's a consistent experience from franchise to franchise in all these different countries.
They also have [00:23:00] programs that their franchises can resell. So. This is a win win win because CresCom gets to easily connect with all their franchises worldwide and provide the franchises with a product they can sell, and it's a product that they can sell without hiring more people. So maybe this is your company, maybe you already have a bunch of franchises and you can harness the power of e-Learning to keep the customer experience.
Interacting with your different franchises, uniform, or you could even provide your franchises with a program to sell to make them more money, to make you more money to serve more learners worldwide. And number seven. Manufacturing another one of my longtime clients, MAPCO Manufacturing Company with an internal university serving their various [00:24:00] departments in their organization.
E-learning is extremely powerful for very technical businesses. So maybe it's manufacturing, maybe you have a technical trade. Whatever it is, your organization can leverage the power of e-learning to train your employees so you have the highest quality technical staff. You could even leverage e-learning to sell trainings as a product.
It's not something MAPCO is doing right now, but MAPCO is teaching people how to use their product on their YouTube channel. By using the power of E-Learning. So they're using it in two ways, internal and external. And then external is broken down into, remember, internal's, employees, external is customers, but you can either sell your program to your customers or you can educate your customers how to use [00:25:00] your product on product.
This. Is what MAPCO is doing. You could do that and you could also sell a certification of how to use your product. There's so many different opportunities with e-learning. That's why MAPCO is so good at what they do. They're able to train all their people to be the best at what they do in the business because of their powerful internal university.
Now if you are any one of these types of organizations and you are ready for a partner to take the e-learning part of this off of your plate and help you not only save six figures or more after paying us per year compounded to millions of dollars over time, but help you create a business that impacts the world globally, I highly recommend that you check out.
