===
[00:00:00] Learning Transformed is brought to you by E-Learning Partners, your guide to designing transformational learning experiences in the age of ai. For millennia human intelligence was the highest form of intelligence on earth. Until now. Hi, I'm ai. I can process more information in seconds than any human in a lifetime.
This shift raises not only practical questions about the future of learning, but existential ones about the meaning of human life, growth and evolution
on this podcast hosted by me. Johnny Ha. We navigate these questions with clarity, creativity, and confidence. As the most adaptable species on the planet, we cannot only survive the rise of [00:01:00] artificial intelligence, but create better human centered, AI powered learning experiences that elevate humanity to a new era of abundance, transformation and meaning
AI is rising. And so are we
Now, let's dive in.
What if I told you that your biggest profit center is already inside your business? Well, today on the show, I'm gonna show you how to identify the untapped revenue streams already inside your business by capitalizing on your knowledge and wisdom that you already have e-learning. And learning experiences.
Now, [00:02:00] my s and p 500 Enterprise Learning Accelerator Partnership client CoStar Group is harnessing the power of e-learning in multiple ways. And you can two external and internal. You and your business has the ability to create both of these things, an external and an internal profit center. By harnessing the power of e-learning and your knowledge, your team's knowledge and wisdom.
External means serving your customers more powerfully With E-Learning, internal means serving your employees, your team members, more powerfully with E-Learning. Now you may not even have employees yet. Either way, [00:03:00] you can harness the power of E-Learning to create this internal profit center to help you scale up.
Your company, same thing externally. Now, depending on what kind of business you are and how you want to capitalize on this untapped revenue stream in your business, there are various ways to do it. Me and my company, E-Learning partners, has been partnered with CoStar. For the past three years, and in these three years, we have not only helped CoStar integrate what I'm about to share with you, we have also saved CoStar six figures per year, even after paying us millions of dollars over time with their e-learning.
And training programs, and this is what we do with all of our Enterprise Learning Accelerator partnerships. If you are interested in seeing if this [00:04:00] partnership is a good fit for you and your business, I invite you to check out the link in the description if you're watching this on YouTube and in the show notes if you're listening to this as a podcast to see if this program is the right fit for you and your business.
For external purposes, what we have done together is three things, starting with building multiple programs to sell. This means creating passive income, and you have this ability in your business, you know, something around the products you sell. The services you provide and the knowledge you share with your customers, whatever that is, I invite you to package it into passive income.
Now, you may be thinking, well, Johnny, there's so many things that I [00:05:00] can sell, so many things that I know that my team knows. Well, here's the shortcut. If you've heard of the 80 20 rule, the Pareto principle. What it says is that 80% of results are created by 20% of efforts and vice versa. 20% of results. Are created by 80% of efforts.
So in this case, if you wanna make sure that you are getting the best bang for your buck, you're creating the best untapped revenue stream in your business, I invite you to focus on the 20%. With CoStar, there are numerous programs that we can sell, but we started. With two, and these two not only make up 80% of the results that learners are [00:06:00] getting, it's closer to 90 or 95%.
We start there because we can create the biggest impact. By focusing on just a couple of programs, and you can too, what do your customers need the most? What are their biggest pain points? You don't need to make a bunch of programs. You just need to make one or two. That creates the biggest impact. So I invite you to focus on the 20%.
This is the first thing that we've done together with CoStar as our enterprise Learning Accelerator partnership client. The second is. To teach. Maybe this sounds like you, maybe your goal is to increase adoption. Maybe like CoStar, you're running a software company. CoStar Group runs the biggest data analytics commercial real estate software [00:07:00] company in the world.
Their platform is used by millions of people across the world, and in order to increase the adoption, to increase the use of the platform, they have harnessed the power of e-learning. And they do this at the most impactful level, our programs that we've created together start at the student. And professor level.
So we focus on serving the young pre-professionals, teaching them how to use this software before they even get into the workforce. They know how to use this powerful tool. It empowers students to get better jobs. We also. Train industry professionals. Maybe this could be you. Maybe you could do the same thing.
Maybe you know how to spell professor and professional. Maybe I do too. It doesn't matter. We are [00:08:00] here today talking about how to unlock this external revenue stream for your organization. If you can start teaching people how to use your product, how to use your service. They're more likely to buy it.
This is what I'm working with my client, KM on KM is a CBD pharmaceutical company focused on building the highest quality CBD products in the world. What we are working on together is educating the user. Which are doctors and patients, the benefits, and how to get the most out of their products. By doing this, we are creating more demand for the product.
We're getting rid of the, I don't know how to do this. I don't know how to use this friction. Have you ever ran into this in your business where someone really is a great fit for what you do, what you provide, [00:09:00] but they don't purchase from you? This has happened to me. And what I've learned is it is my job to teach.
It is my job to educate my learners, my customers, how to get the most out of my services, out of my products, out of my programs. And by doing that, I not only increase adoption. Retention. When people know how to get more value out of what you provide, they're more likely to keep purchasing from you. This is why when I teach people, when I share with people like you what the best learning management system, the best e-learning technology is for them, I not only give you a free trial, I also give you a free course.
Teaching you how to get that platform up and running, and once you start paying for the platform, I give you my platform to profit [00:10:00] strategy session where I help you and your organization maximize the value of your. Chosen platform, and I do all this with my e-learning platform finder, LinkedIn, the description below and in the show notes.
If you're listening to this as a podcast, you can also go to e-learning partners.com/e FP to find the perfect platform for you that's gonna save you five to 200 x what you may accidentally end up paying for a platform if you look for it yourself. Using AI or the internet e-learning platform finder, check it out.
You can teach people how to use your product and your service. And the last one. That we do is to market. This means that we create certifications that promote you, [00:11:00] certifications that promote you. I call this my product
certification. Revenue center, and I'm gonna show you exactly how this works. Let's say you have a product, could be a software product, could be a physical product, doesn't matter. Let's say you have a product and let's say you have a certification on how to use the product. Are you following? So over here.
We're selling the product for CoStar Group. We're selling access to commercial real estate data analytics on properties across the world in our product, and over here we're selling a certification certifying professionals how to use the product. This certification also shows [00:12:00] others on LinkedIn. On your resume, it shows others.
That you know how to use the product, and we can have levels of certification. We can have our basic, we can have our intermediate and we can have advanced, and we can charge different price points for each of these levels. And depending on what certification you have, you were telling others what your experience level with the product is.
So what does this do? Well, the more product you sell, the more certifications you're going to sell because the more users you have, and guess what? The more certifications you sell, the more product you're gonna sell and the more retention. For your product, you're going to have, you are creating an endless loop and this [00:13:00] actually branches out as well because what happens is you have a certification and it's on LinkedIn and people see the certification.
They're like, oh wow. CoStar group, I'm seeing this name a lot. Your company. I'm seeing this name a lot. Well, that's cool. So you're certified. I need to get certified. Well, if I get certified, then I need to buy the product. So there's all these branches and really it's a two-way branch.
People earn their certification, they market to others. More people get the certification. People buy the product, they tell others about it. They buy more product, they buy more certifications. This is why this is so powerful and why the biggest companies in the world, CoStar Group, Salesforce, Google, [00:14:00] Facebook, meta, all these organizations know that people will pay for a certification to learn how to use the thing.
And then they're gonna buy more of the thing and use it longer. Microsoft, in college, I had to get certified with Excel, word and PowerPoint. Guess what also I did. I purchased those products. You can set this up as well, and that's just the external untapped revenue stream you can get with e-learning.
When you combine this with the internal, your returns will compound year after year after year. When I'm talking about internal, I'm talking about how do we train the employees we currently have and onboard the employees we're going to have, and we do this in two ways. Really the goal. Is twofold, efficiency and effectiveness.[00:15:00]
I've heard a lot of definitions of these two things over the years, but my favorites are from Dr. Benjamin Hardy and Dan Sullivan, the co-authors of who not how 10 X is easier than two x and the gap in the game. Here's what they say efficiency is doing. Things, right. Effectiveness, doing the right things, and this is the goal of our internal e-learning programs, our internal training.
You need both of these things because you could. Mm-hmm. Have a program 100% based on efficiency, teaching people how to do all the things in your business, right? But what if some of the things that they're doing right aren't the things they should be doing? Remember, 80 [00:16:00] 20, 80 20 says that 20% of efforts.
Create 80% of results. The right things are the 20%, and we can take this one step further. What's 20% of 20%? 4%? What's 80% of 80%? 64%. This means that 4% of efforts creates 64% of results. The 4%. Is the right things. This is efficiency. You wanna build your program focused on the 4% at most. Focused on the 20%. This is effectiveness.
If we just built for efficiency, we be building for the full pie. The full a hundred [00:17:00] percent. Let's do the a hundred percent. Let's do this whole a hundred percent right? Let's do a hundred percent right. Of a hundred percent. That's what we're gonna do. But when we combine it with effectiveness, we focus on the 4%.
These are the right things. This is all we're gonna create our training on is the right things, and then we're gonna do those things right. And by optimizing that, you're going to at least four or five x your business. If not even more. When you focus on the 4%, you could 10 to 20 x your business with the same team, the same employees, just because you unlocked.
This revenue stream for your business. Now, if you want help unlocking these two revenue streams with your business, just like CoStar group did I invite you to join my enterprise Learning Accelerator partnership program where we partner.
