===
[00:00:00] Learning Transformed is brought to you by E-Learning Partners, your guide to designing transformational learning experiences in the age of ai. For millennia human intelligence was the highest form of intelligence on earth. Until now. Hi, I'm ai. I can process more information in seconds than any human in a lifetime.
This shift raises not only practical questions about the future of learning, but existential ones about the meaning of human life, growth and evolution
on this podcast hosted by me. Johnny Ha. We navigate these questions with clarity, creativity, and confidence. As the most adaptable species on the planet, we cannot only survive the rise of [00:01:00] artificial intelligence, but create better human centered, AI powered learning experiences that elevate humanity to a new era of abundance, transformation and meaning
AI is rising. And so are we
Now, let's dive in.
As of recording this episode, I have 289 clients around the globe using talent LMS to train. They're teams today on the show, I'm gonna help you figure out if Talent Teles is the right technology solution to empower you and your business to grow globally. This is my talent, Teles 2026. Review everything you need to know today to [00:02:00] get talent LMS set up and serving your.
Business. Now, I know that you may be listening to this as a podcast, which is why I am going to be going through the principles that you and I need to consider when choosing any learning management system and specifically where talent LMS thrives. I'm also gonna show a couple of things here and there within talent LMS.
But if you're listening to this, you're not gonna be able to see that. And don't worry, there is plenty of content here and plenty of principles that are powerful for you to take your business to the next level. The first question you need to ask yourself to figure out if talent, LMS or any LMS is the right fit for you and your business.
Is, what results are you looking to get in your business? Are you looking to harness the power of e-learning to train internally, [00:03:00] meaning your teams, or are you looking to harness education, learning experiences, all these amazing things externally, meaning. To serve your customers. Now, you can do both of these things.
You don't have to just be internal or just be external. But when we're really looking at the technologies that are available to you and I, we need to figure out what our primary goal is and really when we're looking at serving internally. So internally being internal, our teams. We are ultimately looking to have an even more tight knit and powerful team at our disposal to work towards our goals as an organization.
This means increasing the effectiveness [00:04:00] of our teams, of our employees, of our contractors, and increasing. The efficiency. Now, I believe that we need to attack effectiveness first, and the reason why we want to attack effectiveness first is because effectiveness is also known as doing the right. Things in our businesses.
Now, why does this even have anything to do with talent LMS? Well, if you are looking to primarily train teams or focus internally in the e-learning or learning experience equation, then talent talents is a highly valuable tool for you and I to use. It really focuses internal now. [00:05:00] With that being said, it does have some external capabilities, and I will talk about that briefly today, but when we're looking at the primary focus of talent, LMS, it's really to empower you to increase the effectiveness and the efficiency of your teams.
Make sure that your teams are doing the right things, and then efficiency, making sure that they're doing things. Right now we want to tackle effectiveness first because you can do things right, but not do the right things. So what we wanna figure out in your business is we wanna figure out what is the 20% that drives the 80% of results.
Pareto principle, we wanna look at what is the 20% of what you are doing in your business that is creating 80. Percent of results. This [00:06:00] 20% is the right things. This 20% is what we wanna focus. Building your e-learning, your education, your training programs. On, and this is why I like to start here at the really the ROI level for you and your organization, because it's really easy to get caught up in all the AI tools, agents, technology, all these strategies and all the stuff.
But really what matters in the end is that you are able to run your business profitably so that you. Can drive your business's mission forward and create global impact. If you're not doing that, then what's the point in the first place? So we wanna find the 20% that is driving the most results in your organization.
If you primarily wanna start building e-learning program and. Really focus on your teams and you [00:07:00] need a robust technology to do so, which you'll should have a pretty good idea today. By the end of this, if talent LMS is the right fit for you. And I also want to help you if Talent Teles is the right fit for you.
Get everything up and running so that before you even start paying for Talent, Teles, you are already getting a return on your investment. You're already focused on that 20%. That is bringing the 80% of results for your organization, which is why linked in the description and in the show notes, I have a free trial.
A talent teles, I'm able to give you my talent. Teles made simple program to help you get everything set up from scratch. And once you start paying for talent, Teles, you are able to sign up for what I call my plat. Form two profit strategy session, [00:08:00] it costs $5,000 plus per hour to hire me out as a consultant, and you get half an hour of my time for free just by becoming a paid talent.
LMS. Member, let's say that you wanna start internal and move to ultimately helping your customers as well. Could you still use talent tells? Well, could talent tells still be a tool that you can use potentially. And if you really, right out of the gate, aren't sure if you ever want to move external and you're, but.
But you're 100% sold on internal. I do recommend you start with Talent LMS because you can layer in some of the external features to empower you to serve your customers as well, and here's really why you would do that. Why? I like to build programs that have this dual purpose. Of internal and external is because it [00:09:00] multiplies the ROI in our organizations.
So if we get the effectiveness and efficiency really cranking in our business, then what this gonna do for us is you're gonna increase employee retention. You're also gonna decrease time to competency, how long it takes for your employees, your team members, to start providing value to your customers and start driving your revenues up and driving your expenses down.
You're also going to be decreasing or eliminating recruiting and hiring costs because you're gonna have employees longer. You're gonna retain team members longer. They're gonna work for you longer, and they're gonna be more of. Effective and efficient at their jobs longer. And you're gonna protect your company's reputation because employees that enjoy working for an organization, team members that enjoy working for an organization, even when they retire or they decide that.[00:10:00]
They need to move forward in their career. If your program isn't built in a way to project them forward in their career, they're going to have nothing but nice things to say about you. This is the power of a internal training program and creating one, using a software like talent LMS. Well, when we're looking externally, we're looking at a couple of.
Specific things that we can really do for our customers, and the first one is we can educate them on products and services. We sell well, the more our customers know and understand the products and services that we sell, the more likely they are to become customers and to stay our customers. Well, if you're building a program [00:11:00] internally to educate your employees on your.
Products and services that you sell so that they can sell more products and services so that they can provide better support for your products and services. You could take that same program that you've created and use it to educate your customers. We like to do this to increase adoption and increase retention.
So we can re increase retention of employees and we can increase retention of customers. And then the obvious one that I think a lot of us look at this whole universe of learning and education is you can sell a program to create a new revenue stream. [00:12:00] I mean. I love this because I have clients like CoStar Group, $2.7 billion a year, s and p 500 companies that has done just this, harnessing the power of both internal and external programs, literally using the same programs to train their employees.
And customers, and we've been working together for four years now as recording this and just the savings that CoStar has gotten by partnering with me and e-learning partners. Has been multi six figures per year. We're looking at millions of dollars over time that they've saved just by working with us.
But when we look at the increases of adoption and retention of customers on their core products and um, the effectiveness and efficiency [00:13:00] of their employees. We multiply the ROI even further much beyond the hard costs or the hard numbers related to the programs themselves. So when we're looking at selling a product, what I share with my VIP consulting clients and my partnership clients, and even in my group consulting programs, is that we wanna focus on.
B2C and B2B sales. B2C is really one-to-one sales and B2B is one to many sales. And we do this because especially if you are like my VIP consulting client, Mario at sell salt wellbeing for all, and you have a mission. Like Mario to half the global suicide rate in the next three years or less. You need to get your message in front of as many people as [00:14:00] possible, and more importantly, you need to have as many people as possible get value out of your programs, out of what you have to share with the world, which means that you could focus on selling or sharing B2C or one-to-one.
Business to consumer, or you can focus on B2B or business to business or one to many. When you sell to a business, you're talking about numerous people within the organization that you can impact one to many. So if you are primarily looking. At an internal learning management system, and maybe in the future you want to layer in some of these external pieces and talent LMS may be the right fit for you.
I don't wanna mislead you though, because if you are looking to focus more on the external side or the external side is more [00:15:00] exciting to you to serve your customers, to educate them to increase adoption and retention. Of customers on your current products and services, or creating a new revenue stream for your business, a certification for your business that you can sell to create what I call the certification revenue accelerator.
You're basically certifying people how to use your product. And when they learn how to use your product, they tell more people and then they get certified and then they use the product and it keeps going around and round and round and round. This is what Microsoft has done with their suite of products.
In college, I had to get certified on Excel, word and PowerPoint. And guess what? I had to pay for that certification and I had to pay for the products. And to this day, I pay for the products and I use them because subconsciously I got certified on them. You could do the same thing for your business. [00:16:00] Well, talent Teles has some functionalities that you can use to do this, but if this is your primary focus and talent, Teles probably isn't the right fit for you.
And in that case, I wanna help you find the right fit platform for you, which is why I created. Free e-learning platform finder. It's linked in the show notes and in the description. If you're watching this on YouTube, what I've done is I've built my e-learning platform finder to, in a matter of seconds, to match you with the right platform for you and your business's needs.
You're gonna get matched with the platform. You're gonna get a extended free trial of that platform so that you can start seeing it's. The right fit for your business. You're gonna get a platform made simple program to help you step by step, get set up on the platform, and I will even give you my platform, the profit strategy session if you start paying for that platform.
So go check out my e-learning platform finder link in the show notes and in the description if you're watching this on YouTube. Now, back in. 2024. I went [00:17:00] through and did a very comprehensive review of talent LMS with step-by-step tutorials on how to do everything, and I have it linked in the description below and in the show notes if you want to check out that review on YouTube.
In addition, in 2025, I lost my talent. LMS Made Simple program, along with all my other made simple programs that you can get free access to with the free trial of talent. LMS. By clicking in the description or in the show notes, if you're listening to this in the podcast, the point is between that review and even more so in my talent, LMS made simple program, I give you step by step tutorials and how to do everything that you need to for your business to start getting a return on your investment, your time, and your monetary investment in talent LMS.
So for today. I really just wanna focus on five things talent, LMS has to offer [00:18:00] to best serve you and your business. At E-Learning Partners, we wanna serve a hundred million learners worldwide by empowering mission-driven businesses like yours to use and harness the power of learning to change the world and equip you with the tools, the software platforms, the strategies that you need to do so.
So. The first thing that really talent LMS thrives in is creating learning experiences. Talent. Tele MS has my favorite learning experience, e-learning program, online course authoring, whatever you want to call it, the authoring tool, which an authoring tool is just a tool that you and I can use to create a.
Program, a learning Experience program, an online course e-learning program for our learners. Well, talent LMS has one of the [00:19:00] best, if not the best internal authoring tools called Talent Craft. I'll show you really quick. So talent Craft. Once you log into Talent Talents with your free trial linked in the description or on the show notes, if you don't have one already, you're gonna need to do is go under courses.
Make sure you are on the newest interface, though. Over here you can see there's legacy and then there's a new interface. So if you're listening to this, the podcast, just know when you log into Talent, LMS. Make sure that you're using the more modern looking of the two interfaces, you'll be able to tell The legacy interface looks like it was created in the nineties, basically when the internet launched.
So once you are in the newer interface, you want to go on our courses, put ad course, and then once we're in new course you can name the course, [00:20:00] upload files, all these different things. Then under new course over here, we can add different types of content to our course. Well, this is how you're gonna add all the different types of content.
You can even create SCORM content and upload it here if you want XAPI content and upload it here, CMI five content and upload it here. Or you can go into Talent Craft. And when we go into Talent Craft here. It opens up an authoring portal that is really powered by ai. We have a bunch of different options.
They're really all the same though, so just pick, start from scratch and here you have a blank canvas. And what we're gonna do is AI prompt our course. So create a page about, and let's say that you are looking to increase sales at your organization. What we can say is create a page about [00:21:00] how to increase cold call closing rates by 10% or more.
Then we go start creating. And talent LMS starts authoring our course or our module. Pretty cool. This, I really like using this tool to get a starting place for the content I'm creating. This is how my clients like to use this tool as well. I personally am a finisher. When a project has already been started for me, I'm able to go in and bring that learning experience to the finish line.
Maybe you're the same or maybe you're a starter, and even if you're a starter, this is gonna help you start faster. Comes up with images. We have different flashcards. They check on learning all sorts of different. So [00:22:00] interactive pieces have been created, and then we can go back and forth with ai, or we can add our own sections to this as well.
And then we can go and rename the unit and create another unit, another unit, another unit. We can literally create our entire course just like this. Pretty cool. If you are listening to this as a podcast, you didn't really miss much. You just need to get your free trial of talent, LMS, and you can try out Talent Craft yourself.
It is super easy to use. You may also, if you have been watching this, the YouTube. Version. You may see that this looks like Rise 360. This is very similar to some of the software you get access to as an Articulate 360 subscriber, which is a $1,500 per year per user subscription that you and your organization need to invest in to get this type of authoring [00:23:00] capability.
While you get all of this included in talent, LMS. The free trial I'm giving you access to today, so you can also record and upload video and audio directly in talent lms, and you can upload score XAPI and CMI five files. Number two, branches, learning how to use branches and talent Ms. Is the most important functionality feature that talent LMS has and really empowers you to customize talent, LMS for your organization.
It empowers you to grow your organization locally, nationally, and globally. What this really does is it gives you a way to break down your learning environments into locations.
Departments [00:24:00] and even franchises.
One of my clients, CresCom, they have franchises all over the world and each franchise needs their own independent learning environment. This is what talent LMS really empowers you to do is set up. A specific learning environment for each of your business units. This is great for scaling your business, especially if you want to harness the power of e-Learning and community building in your business to have your team members in different locations, departments, or franchises.
To learn together, to interact with one another and even some friendlier, not so friendly competition for the most engagement in your programs, which I'll talk about even deeper. In the third way, you can really harness the power of talent LMS in your business. So let's dive [00:25:00] back into talent s here. Our goal with branches.
And, uh, what you'll see is there's something also called groups and categories. And really you can use all these things to organize your learning experience and organize how you group content, how you group programs for your learners. But what branches really allows us to do is create independent learning environments.
So let's say that this is your organization. I just drew a circle on our board. And let's say that this whole circle, this is your learning environment, but let's say that you have different locations around the globe and you want a independent learning environment for each location. Maybe you have Denver and you have London, we have Tokyo.[00:26:00]
Maybe we have. Bueno,
et cetera. You keep going and going and going. Well, instead of having to set up a brand new e-learning environment for each of these places, or having to spend money on multiple technologies to serve each of these markets, you can invest in talent LMS. And it will segment the learning for you. And the great thing about this is you can build one program, have it live in all four or five, however many branches you have, dozens of branches, you build it once, it lives in all of them, and you have an independent learning environment in each location, in each department.
Maybe instead of having these as locations. You want all these to be different [00:27:00] departments, so we have our sales team, our accounting, fulfillment, and customer support. And there may be some programs that need to be in all of the departments like onboarding and HR and different programs, but there's gonna be other programs that are gonna be specific for sales, specific for fulfillment, specific for accounting, specific for customer support.
And you may only want these available. In these branches, and you may only want the teams in each of these branches to compete with one another with the gamification pieces within talent lms, which I talk about even deeper in my talent. LMS made simple program. But once we go under branches, we can add a branch.
And, uh, [00:28:00] really it is pretty straightforward. Add a name, all these different things. When you create the name, it's gonna create an independent URL that you can send or that you can have for each of your branches, depending on how you're doing it. Location, department, franchises for them to log into their learning.
And really, it's just a subdomain, so it'll end up being a subdomain for them to access. It customizes the experience for them. So all your accounting people will log in with the same domain fulfillment, the same customer support, sales, et cetera. And you can even have different languages for different branches.
So remember when we talk about location, you can have one branch in English, another branch in Spanish, and uh. All over the board. Portuguese, Japanese, [00:29:00] Dutch, Korean. Really, it just allows you to, within the same environment, within the same course, within everything that you and your team is putting effort into, building and telling you can segment it and customize it for different branches of your business.
Number three reports. And KPIs, also known as key performance Indicators. When implementing any learning management system or e-learning technology in your business, what we really need to do is come up with what are the results. That we're looking to get what are the key performance indicators that we are looking for from our team members?
And we can do this externally too, but this really is applicable when we're looking at serving our teams. 'cause what we really [00:30:00] wanna do is track to see if we're getting a return on our investment. On our time and monetary investment into the software, but also the program we're creating the strategy.
'cause really it's a education strategy that we are implementing in our businesses. So tele LMS has all the reports, and I'll show you briefly where they are. What you and I are assessing when we look at our reports is. Are we actually getting the results that we want by implementing the program? And here are the four scenarios that can occur.
KPIs improve, plus learning experience engagement. So what you may see is once you start implementing your program, your KPIs may go up. And you go in, you look at the reports and talent on MS, and you see that your learners are [00:31:00] engaged, they are taking your programs and you're pretty happy. 'cause things are improving and people are engaging.
So I would say that this is. A positive outcome. This means that the investment of your time, your energy, your monetary investment into implementing talent tele and an overall education strategy in your organization is creating results. We are really happy if we see this. The second thing we may notice though, is KPIs are improving.
Your sales numbers are going up, your close rates are going, your close rates are going up. Maybe because you invest in talent mess and it allowed you to let go of some more expensive softwares, you're seeing that result happen. Your software [00:32:00] stack is. Simpler for your teams to use, but you look in and you see no learning experience, engagement, and you're like, what?
What's going on? Is this positive, negative, or neutral? I still believe this is a positive result. We just need to figure out how to get our learners to go and engage in the program. But if our KPIs are going up since we implemented things. Even if they're not going in the program, this is a positive result.
This is driving your business forward and empowering you to scale globally. On the other side of things, we may see that your KPIs are staying the same or maybe they're even decreasing. And if this is the case and you go in and you see that there's learning experience, engagement, this is not good. This is negative.
And that's why it's so important to set KPIs. What are the results you [00:33:00] are looking for by implementing a learning program, a learning strategy, e-learning program in your business in the first place? Because if we take this KPI piece off of the board. And we just looked at is there engagement in our program?
We would think that this is a positive thing. Also, if we took the KPIs off the board and we looked and we saw no learning experience, engagement, we would look at this as a negative thing. This is why the information, the reports and talents, talent cards, or any other system that you're looking to implement in your business don't mean anything unless we look at KPIs first.
We have the set KPIs first. See if they're improving, see if the results are improving in our business, our team members, are they improving? And then we cross references to reports. So then the last one on the board here is KPIs. Are the [00:34:00] equal or decreasing and there's no learning experience, engagement, is this negative, positive, or neutral?
I mean, it's negative for the business, but it's not necessarily negative for the program. This, in my opinion, is neutral. This shows you and I that we need to figure out a better way. To get our learners to engage in our program, and when we get them to engage in our program, then we'll be able to look to see if any of these other situations are true, and then we can really assess if the program itself, the strategy itself is positive or negative.
Or is it just gonna keep coming back neutral. So let's dive in here really quick and see where we find these reports. Once you set the KPIs in your business, what you're gonna wanna do, log into talent ms, go to reports, and here is where you're gonna access everything. [00:35:00] Overview. You can go into users courses, learning paths, branches, so we can look at how the KPIs in each of our branches is breaking down.
Maybe some locations are doing better than others groups, so we. Can have groups within branches. We have different departments within branches. We can have, we can have different departments within different locations. We use branches for locations and groups for departments. We look at learning activities, timelines, training matrix just gives us kind of a look at overview of everything per user, custom reports and overall analytics.
So. Number four. This is a new feature of talent LMS skills, and I have a link with an article all about it in the show notes and in the YouTube video description. [00:36:00] But basically, why do you care about this new feature? What you can do is use the skills feature to train your teams using AI on various skills that are important to your organization.
Talent. LMS has set this up really nicely. You can also use this to find team members. This is really interesting. So what talent LMS has done is set up this skills piece to empower you to find team members within your organization. That have specific skills for something that you're looking for. So it's important that within your organization, you encourage your team members to work on skills that they're interested in.
This is a value add for you to give to your team members. So [00:37:00] using AI to train team and. This empowers you to find team members who have trained with a skill. Let's see what this looks like inside. Talent. Talent mess. We go down to skills. Right now it's below reports and that what you'll see, so our listeners, here's what you'll see a library of.
Skill categories, accounting, active listening, adapt, adaptability, AI basics, budgeting, collaboration, coding, content management. There are a hundred results here. Entrepreneurship, empathy, flexible thinking, learning, design, leadership, negotiation. It goes on and on and on. Well, let's [00:38:00] look at one of these. And we can actually assign users for specific skills.
We can also edit the skill. The cool thing here is when we go into a skill. We have a self-assessment question pool that is going to help assess what our learners need to learn about a specific skill. Then AI is going to assign specific courses, specific programs to help them with any training gaps that they have.
And then we have external resources for our learners to use to learn. Related to the skill. Now, what I like about this is this is a way for you to group courses that you've created. To provide resources that you haven't created to learners [00:39:00] based on skills. It gives your learners the ability to just find skills that they wanna learn about.
It gives you the ability to assign skills to learners that you want them to learn about, and it empowers you to go to the talent pool and search for people who have specific skills within your organization to fill roles. That you may need filling. This is where when we talked at the beginning of this whole episode about how we can reduce hiring and recruiting costs, how we can reduce time to competency costs with internal training.
This is what Tele Teles is tackling with the skills feature, and this is why the skills feature is something that you and your organization, especially if you own a larger organization. This can save you hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars per year just by implementing this feature into your [00:40:00] business successfully.
And I find this very interesting because what I've seen is that people care more than ever about investing in themselves and their education. I've seen certification revenue for my clients and in the industry as a whole. Increased by 30% in the past year, and this is really due to people investing in themselves and learning new skills.
Well, why not have the ability in your business to serve your learners where they're at with a feature that's already built in to empower you to do so? What if you don't have time to build all these courses to populate these courses? Well, this is where Talent Teles has thrived for a long time. With a course store, you can invest in courses within Talent LMS with the talent library and serve them to your learners.
You don't even have to spend the time to build courses anymore. Our backend to Talent lms, we go course store. [00:41:00] This is where we have our talent library. We also have our compliance library, and we have other providers as well. There are so many options. And there used to only be the talent library, but now we have even more options for you to save time and money building courses that by investing in courses that already exist.
For your learners, all you have to do is figure out what your learners actually want. So what you really need to do is always have an open dialogue with your team members, with your learners, so that you know how to serve them best. Now, I told you that Talent talents equips you and I with some tools we can use to use talent lms.
To harness talent, LMS as an external learning management system, or e-learning program, or e-learning software as well. In order to access those features, go to accountant settings and go under e-commerce. This [00:42:00] is where you can set things up so the programs that you're creating, you can potentially sell them.
What I don't like about this talent, LMS doesn't equip us with the ability to market our courses, our programs successfully, we can sell them. But it really doesn't have the ability to email market, put people in funnels, do all the fun things like systems like Kajabi do. Now, pricing for talent LMS is going to differ depending on your organization, but you can look at spending anywhere from a hundred dollars a month all the way up to a thousand dollars per month or more if you are an enterprise.
But if we look at here, so if I go down to 800 to a thousand users. And I pay monthly, you'll be paying just under a thousand dollars per month. If I pay yearly, you are gonna save 20%, and that's if you have 800 to a thousand users. [00:43:00] Now, if you're in the one to 40 user range, you're gonna be much closer to $120 per month.
But really talent, LMS pricing depends on users and the features you want. If you want all the features and all the users. You're gonna be close to that a thousand dollars a month. If you don't need that many users and you don't need all the features, you're gonna be close to a hundred dollars a month.
And if you're an enterprise that needs more than a thousand users talent, LMS is gonna serve you as well. Now remember to grab your free trial of Talent LMS and get access to your talent. LMS made simple. Program to help you and your company get everything ready from scratch, so that even before you start paying for talent LMS, you are getting a return on your investment.
I'm excited to hear about your talent LMS and overall learning experience journey. Please leave me a comment if you have any additional questions about talent tele, or more importantly about how you can harness the power of e-learning.
